However, I was disappointed to find out that it’s only officially available on the latest Pixel phones running on Android 14 or later. How to get Generative AI Wallpapers on any Pixel smartphone
While Google has integrated the fantastic generative AI wallpaper feature directly into the latest Pixel device if you’re running an old Pixel device, here’s how you can use it:
1. Visit the APKMirror website and get the official AI Wallpapers app.
2. Install the app on your phone after downloading it.
3. Hold down on an empty area of your home screen.
4. Choose Wallpaper & Style from the options that pop up and tap on More Wallpapers.
5. Pick the AI wallpaper option and select a theme or style for your wallpaper.
6. Choose Inspire Me for a unique design prompt and hit Create Wallpaper to see what it looks like.
7. If you’re happy with it, tap the Done button in the top right corner.

How to get Generative AI Wallpapers on any Android 14 smartphone
Follow the quick steps described below to learn how to get the Generative AI Wallpapers feature on any Android device:
1. Head to the APKMirror site and download the official AI Wallpapers app. You can find the download link below.
2. After downloading, install the app on your phone.
3. Hold down on your phone’s home screen and choose Wallpaper & Style.
Note: If you don’t have a Samsung Galaxy phone, use the Google Wallpapers app instead. Look for the option to select Live wallpapers.
4. Choose Change Wallpaper from the options, tap the three-dot menu at the top right, and select Live Wallpapers.
5. Select AI Wallpapers. Now, you’ll immediately see a wallpaper created by AI.
6. To tweak it, tap the Settings icon. Once you’re satisfied with the design, hold down on an empty screen area to remove any clutter.
7. Then, quickly take a screenshot by simultaneously pressing the volume down and power buttons.
8. Open the screenshot and select Set as wallpaper.
Note: You may need to zoom in a bit to remove the status bar icons at the top.
8. Finally, you apply the wallpaper to your home screen and lock screen.
