Google, last week, confirmed its much-anticipated event by confirming the date to 4 October 2023. In this event, the tech-giant is all set to unveil its new-gen Google Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel Watch 2. These devices will launch after almost one month of the Apple’s Wonderlust event.

Ahead of its official launch, Google has already started teasing the design of Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone. Looking at the smartphone, one just cannot differentiate between the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro model, keeping aside a few tweeks.

One change which might be included would be the new chipset, Tensor G3, onboard. Looking at the official image, the company has teased the new smartphone in the Porcelain white color option. Although it is expected that the Pixel 8 Pro might also come in the black variant.

Here’s What You Can Expect

Rumors by Yogesh Brar suggest that Pixel 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display along with a tiny hole-punch cutout for the 11-megapixel selfie camera.

As for the rear camera, the smartphone will come with a 50 MP OIS-enabled primary camera, a 64 MP ultra-wide lens and a 49 MP telephoto lens. All of this will come included in a long pill-shaped cutout, although the camera will remain as it is.

The smartphone will draw its power from Google Tensor G3 SoC. In terms of battery, Pixel 8 Pro will come packed with a 4,950mAh battery with 27W charging (wired). Keep in mind that Google will skip including a charger with the phone.

To top it all off, the smartphone could come with a Titan security chip, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The Pixel 8 Pro will offer 5G.

Lastly, the phone might include some AI tweeks to the camera. Rumors suggest that the company is already working on an Audio Magic Eraser feature to remove background noise from the video. This feature will be available via a dedicated app. One could expect some pre-installed Bard features.

As for pricing, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to sell at INR 1.10 lakhs for the base 128GB storage and INR 1.16 lakh for the 256 GB variant.

Lastly, it is expected that the smartphone will hit the stores in October.
